The Company was founded in 1981 by the current chairman, Peter Baker, and incorporated in 1986. We are a Private Limited Company. Eagle Hoburne Security Services Ltd is one of the largest private independent security companies in the south of England. Operating in a well established industry, we have built our reputation by providing a quality service and we are among the market leaders in our areas of expertise.

Eagle Hoburne Security holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Security Guarding & Key Holding services.

AWARDS

Our Company have been awarded BS 5750 in February 1993 which later became BS EN ISO 9002 and through a series of successful external audits we completed the full transition to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 in November 2003 followed by BS EN ISO 9001:2008 in 2009 DET Norske Veritas (DNV) one of the world’s largest accreditation bodies undertakes our quality accreditation and external audits. Our twice-yearly assessments incorporate BS7499, BS7858 & BS7984 the vocational standards for the Manned Guarding Industry and were successful in their application to join the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).

PETER BAKER - Chairman
A successful businessman and security specialist, Peter saw a niche in the market for a high quality manned security service in the Southern region. With this in mind, Peter formed Eagle Hoburne Security Services in 1981 and worked closely with his co-director Peter Keene a retired Chief Inspector in the Hampshire Constabulary, until Mr Keene’s retirement in 1999. Peter continues to head his successful business and is pushing towards his ambition to progress Eagle Hoburne Security Services Ltd to becoming the most successful independent security provider in the manned guarding sector.

RICK ASHTON - Managing Director
Rick commenced his career in the Security Industry in 1986 originally selecting to work in the electronic side of the market before joining the manned guarding sector with Eagle Hoburne in 1988. Through taking advantage of the training resources that both Eagle Hoburne and the industry had to offer, Rick progressed through the ranks from Security Officer to Operations Director in 1998 and eventually Managing Director in November 2000. Rick works in close support of the Chairman and is responsible for the overall management of all the company’s operational issues.

DANNY SURFACE – General Manager
Danny worked for a major national retailer for 7 years where he steadily progressed through the company’s personnel infrastructure prior to becoming a Store Manager. In addition and simultaneously, Danny served with Her Majesty’s Coastguard on a retained basis and took part in numerous active rescue operations. In 1998, Danny opted to change his career direction and joined the ranks of Eagle Hoburne initially as a Mobile Response Driver. Through a combination of training and experience he has progressed with our company and has held a number of Senior Site Management positions. Danny joined our Head Office Management Team in December 2004 as a Customer Services Manager and has a high level of responsibility for ensuring that our client's contracts are managed and serviced to a high degree of competency. Early this year Danny was promoted to General Manager being directly responsible to the Managing Director.
